Hom(m)e ‘home’ + ‘homme’ = ho(m)me. The apartment is divided into 2 realms, the private realm that includes the bedroom and bathroom, and the public realm which comprises of the kitchen, dining and sitting areas. This duality is expressed through the use of contrasting materials; soft, warm wood wraps the private spaces whilst cool stone and laser cut steel define the public side of the house.
